Current golf courses in Turkey can only be compared to the best in USA. There are 2 courses near Istanbul and 1 course near Ankara. The golfing center of Turkey is Belek - about 40 km. from Antalya - with 11 golfcourses. Right now there are 3-4 other projects going on, and 2 in the Bodrum area are close to be finished.

The golf courses in Turkey are all designed by well known golf architects, and the construction work is of the highest quality!? The golf situation in Turkey can be described in one sentence: There is a very big shortage of golf courses in Turkey!?

Furthermore Turkey is especially interesting regarding golf resorts. The low costs in constructing and running of the whole resort will generate big netto incomes for the investors. Homes in these resorts are very attractive, and they can be sold much faster in Turkey or foreign countries than other holiday homes.
